How to Wild Write:
1. Get a pen and paper. (No laptops or keyboards or phones. We’re going for a hand cramp here).
2. Choose one of the below prompts, or create your own.
3. Set a timer for 10 minutes.
4. Write. Write continuously. Your hand will likely start to hurt. Keep going. Do not stop. Do not edit. Do not pause and search for the right words. Do not pass go and collect $200. Just kidding. But just keeping writing. If you get stuck, write your grocery list. Or write the prompt over and over again. Or make your to do list. Eventually we usually get to the thing we need to say or write. Sometimes it takes a while. That’s ok. It’s a bit like life. But trust and keep writing. Let yourself be curious and open to the surprise of where your pen might lead you. (Also, sometimes this is hard, but we can do it!)
"The thing I haven’t told you…”
“What I’m really trying to say is…”
