A full day of connection through movement, stillness and pen against paper. Following a similar format as our popular Wild Hearts summer series, we’ll give space to dive deeper into ourselves, our movement, and our writing. But you need not be a runner, writer or yogi, these are just tools we use to connect to each other and self. We’ll enjoy a warm fall lunch together and be tucked away in a piece of nature at Bodhi Farms near Cottonwood Canyon.
What to expect?
A brief introduction to the grounding practices of Foundation Training led by Jessica Snyder of Physical Therapy Elite
A hour of yoga followed by a meditation practice with Terra Grace Yoga
An introduction and practice of wild writing led by Tori Pintar (if writing scares you, this is the writing for you)
A 60 minute run or walk. This is about meeting yourself where you are at and what your body needs.
A warming vegetarian fall lunch
Snacks and warm drinks
A farewell cocktail celebration before we say goodbye
Our Theme: (Re) Wild
Inspired by an alternate translation to Mary Oliver’s famous lines:
‘Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?’
We’re creating space for each of us to connect to our own unique wild heart and consider what a wild life looks like to us. This is an opportunity to dig deeper or just to sit with yourself wherever you are at. We’re so excited for whatever the day may bring for you!
